A black grape with a white parent: Cabernet Sauvignon arose in Bordeaux as a chance crossing of Cabernet Franc with Sauvignon Blanc. That is the grape on this B & G label, which carries no country, region or vintage alongside it.
B & G CABERNET SAUVIGNON RESERVE is bottled at 13.5% ABV.
B & G Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve leads with dark berries, blackcurrant and a hint of pencil shavings. The body is generous, the tannins firm but ripe, and the finish stays dry rather than sweet.
