Nearly all Prosecco is refermented in a large sealed tank and bottled from there, though the rules also allow a bottle-refermented type, labelled sui lieviti and known locally as col fondo. Calappiano's comes from the Veneto in north-east Italy.
CALAPPIANO PROSECCO is bottled at 11% ABV.
On the palate, Calappiano Prosecco shows fresh pear and citrus with a floral lift. The mousse is soft, the acidity bright, the finish dry.
