Syrah comes from the northern Rhone Valley in France, home to Hermitage and Cote-Rotie. DNA testing traced its parents to two old varieties of south-east France, so despite the name it has no link to the Iranian city of Shiraz. Camas uses it here for a rose.

Camas Syrah Rose leads with raspberry, redcurrant and a hint of peach. Fresh and light on the palate with a clean, dry finish.
